Before tonight’s NFL opening game, Mike Florio of Pro football talk dropped a pretty huge bomb by saying that he had heard that Marshawn Lynch was seriously considering returning to the NFL.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Lynch is currently “up in the air” about returning to the NFL. The source said that Week Four or Week Five could be the hot spots for a possible unretirement.
Florio goes on to say that the Seahawks owns Lynch’s rights and would have to decid whether to trade him, keep him or release him.
Lynch has always been one of my favorite players to cover on and off the field, so I hope he comes back.
