Back in March, former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski announced that he was retiring from football with this heartfelt Instagram post.
Since then there have been several reports that he was taking some time off but might be willing to make a comeback later in the year.

Former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski made a public appearance recently and said he was done with football. What I can tell you is few people, including sources on the Patriots, believe that.
The belief is that once the season gets going, and Gronkowski starts missing football, he will rejoin the team. It’s not just a hunch, sources say; you can count on it
The Gronk rumors died down a bit when some pics of him looking skinny went viral on the Internet.

Tonight, Gronk shared a shirtless photo of himself standing next to the Lombardi trophy and people are convinced that he’s in good enough football shape to make a comeback.
