The Bruins honored the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots at the TD Garden on Saturday night. Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, linebackers Rob Ninkovich and Chandler Jones, and offensive lineman Nate Solder were welcomed to center ice for a ceremonial puck drop before Bruins played the Islanders.
At the end of the ceremony, Gronk did his patented touchdown spike with the hockey puck on the ice. Gronk ended up spiking the puck so hard that it bounced over the glass and into fifth row.
