Ronda Rousey is apparently not a fan of UFC’s White House card.

Last month, Rousey revealed that she couldn’t come to terms to bring her fight against Gina Carano to the UFC.

“I reached out to Dana and asked him if he would be interested in it,” Rousey said. “It didn’t exactly work out with the UFC, but it led us here today.”

According to Rousey, the UFC didn’t want to pay her what she felt she deserved.

“They didn’t want to set a precedent of giving me the guaranteed money I deserve… They just made a $7.7 billion deal at Paramount. It’s in their best interest not to put on the best fights possible, but to spend as little money as possible so they can keep it… Now that they sold the company, it’s out of Dana’s hands unfortunately, and it’s fallen onto Hunter Campbell and UFC corp. They don’t care about putting on the best fights possible; they care about putting on the most cost-effective fights possible.”

Rousey’s fight with Carano will take place on Netflix and will be promoted by Jake Paul’s MVP promotions.

On Monday, Netflix announced that Francis Ngannou would be on the Rousey-Carano card, prompting Rousey to take a shot at the UFC and its recently released White House card being headlined by Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje.

“NgannouVsLins joins RouseyVsCarano on Netflix May 16th!” Rousey wrote on X. “How’s THAT for a bamf laden double headliner? That’s what happens when you put fighters and fans ahead of shareholders @MostVpromotions P.S. UFC’s White House card sucks.”

Rousey has also stated that she believes her fight vs Carano will beat UFC’s numbers on Paramount+.

Given that Netflix has nearly three times the viewership of Paramount+, Rousey/Carano will outdraw most UFC fight cards these days.
