In an effort to break up a potential inning-ending double-play in the seventh inning of Game 2 of the NLDS, Dodgers’ Chase Utley took out New York Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada with this takeout slide.

After the collision, Tejada had to be carted off the field after his leg was put in an air cast. As a result of the slide, the umpires didn’t grant Tejada the neighborhood play and Utley was declared safe.
