The Minnesota Timberwolves are trying to clinch a spot in the play-in tournament, but things are getting a bit out of control on the team.

During a timeout call in the middle of their game against the New Orleans Pelicans, Rudy Gobert, and teammate Kyle Anderson, were seen exchanging words.

That’s pretty normal to see in sports. Especially during this time of the year when playoffs are on the horizon.

However, things turned south when Rudy Gobert reached over and threw a punch at his teammate. It led to a little scuffle on the sideline, as the team separated the two immediately.

Here’s the wild clip!

Ultimately, the punch was more like a shove. Either way, this is a horrible look for the Timberwolves.

Minnesota might be dysfunctional right now and it’s hard to imagine they make a run in the playoffs. That is if they make it there.

It’ll be interesting to see if this team can regroup and get back on track. They’re currently wrapping up the third quarter of their game against New Orleans, as of this publishing.

Of course, NBA fans couldn’t help but react to Gobert’s wild actions.

It seems some Timberwolves fans are over Rudy Gobert.

Year in and year out.

Kyle Anderson has earned a reputation as being a laid-back guy.

We’ll see what comes of it. We’re sure Rudy Gobert will be asked about the little scuffle during the postgame interview. It’ll be interesting to hear what he has to say.

That is if Rudy Gobert chooses to spill the beans.
