It looks like Russell Westbrook is on the verge of being traded just a day after getting a beef with Lakers head coach Darvin Ham.
On Tuesday, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported that the Lakers are in talks to send Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz in a three-team trade.
The Lakers, Jazz and Timberwolves are in discussions on a three-team deal that would send D’Angelo Russell to the Lakers, Russell Westbrook and draft compensation such as a first-round pick to Utah and Mike Conley Jr. to Minnesota, sources tell me and @Tjonesonthenba.

On Tuesday night, Westbrook got into a heated altercation with Lakers head coach Darvin Ham, who was angry Westbrook was lingering around on the court after getting subbed out.

Apparently, the Jazz plan to buy Westbrook out if they trade for him and would become a free agent.
