England gave up a 93rd minute goal to Russia in their opening Euro 2016 contest, and with it, succumbed to a 1-1 draw.
However, the hooligan-incited violence that destroyed parts of Marseille in the days before the match remained the theme after the clash between teams went final.
A large group of Russian fans broke through the separation barriers at the Stade Velodrome, and attacked innocent English fans as the were trying to leave the venue at the conclusion of the match. Several of the men leading the charge were wearing balaclavas to shield their identity.

English goalkeeper Joe Hart was captured mouthing to English fans to “Be safe,” and stay in the stadium.
Reportedly, UEFA is set to open an investigation into both team’s fanbases following the harrowing incidents.
