It’s been a rough week for the Garcia boxing family.
Earlier this week, Ryan Garcia was banned by the WBC after posting several bizarre racist tirades on Twitter which led to him declaring he was going to rehab for alcohol abuse.
Ryan’s younger brother, Sean, fought on the undercard of the Jorge Masvidal-Nate Diaz fight on Saturday night and took a beat down at the hands of Amado Vargas, son of boxing legend Fernando Vargas.

Ryan reacted to Sean’s loss on social media.
“Sean just kept getting hit with the uppercut and never countered fair play Amado congrats”
“Although I knock out you and all your brothers pretty easy, But congrats you guys won”
Update: Ryan claims he had no issue with security despite the video of the incident circulating online.
