Travis Kelce’s time in the NFL could be coming to an end.
At the end of last season, Kelce spent some time deciding whether he wanted to return to football, but ultimately decided to come back with the Chiefs for another season.
On Sunday, it seemed like Kelce might be ready to retire again.
At the end of the Chiefs-Texans game, Kelce dropped a crucial pass that resulted in an interception, and ended the Chiefs’ hopes of staging a comeback against the Texans.

During his postgame press conference, Mahomes was cryptic about Kelce’s future with the team.
“Yeah, I mean, every season that I’ve had with him these last few years, I try to cherish because, you know, you never know.
“He got himself in great shape this year and he’s played great football. And he’ll have the option to do whatever he wants to after the [season], but one thing is: give everything he has for the rest of [it] to try to give us a chance to make a playoff run.”
