Trey Green scored 23 points to lead Saint Louis to victory over Dayton during the college basketball game on Friday. He also got in trouble with head coach Josh Schertz for leaking a video from the locker room.
It was supposed to be a private moment!
The BTA celebration continues to take over college basketball and college sports. Schertz is the latest participant in the trend, but he did not know he was being filmed by his own player.
Saint Louis dominated Dayton from start to finish.
Chaifetz Arena was at capacity for one of the most highly-anticipated mid-major games of the season. More than 100,000 fans packed the gym in support of the No. 19-ranked Billikens.

Saint Louis has only one loss through its first 22 games, by one single point. Head coach Josh Schertz, who came over from Indiana State last season, has his team in position to make a deep run during March Madness. This group is not a fluke. The expectation is to win the Atlantic 10.
Although Robbie Avila is the biggest star on the roster in terms of notoriety, Quentin Jones, Ishan Sharma, Dion Brown and Trey Green are legit. They put a whoopin’ on Dayton to win 102-71.
Green finished with 23 points, five rebounds and four assists in 27 minutes against the Flyers. He drained seven (!!) three-pointers.

His lights-out performance led him to be named as the A-10 Player of the Week.
However, it was not all sunshines and rainbows. Trey Green got in trouble with Schertz!
Josh Schertz is the man.
Humphrey’s Restaurant and Bar is one of the most popular establishments near the campus at Saint Louis University. Billikens fans got their drink on before the game and in celebration after.
And then a special guest showed up!
Josh Schertz arrived to the bar and poured up around of shots for everybody there. He took one too!

That was not the only viral video of Schertz from the postgame celebration. Green posted a glimpse at the locker room celebration on his Instagram story. The head coach beat a chair with his belt to represent the beatdown Saint Louis just put on Dayton. It was BTA! (Belt To A–)

Green was not supposed to post that video. Schertz called him out on the team plane.

I would imagine the star guard got a slap on the wrist and was told not to post anything from the locker room moving forward. No big deal. You can’t be too mad when he hit seven triples in a 30-point win.
