Dallas Cowboys rookie defensive end Sam Williams was involved in a car crash Thursday in Plano, Texas.
Williams’ Corvette struck another vehicle on Texas State Highway 121 while he was attempting a left turn. Both drivers were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment after the crash but reports did not indicate that the injuries were serious.
Dallas-Ft. Worth reporter Jeff Kolb of FOX 4 shared a video of Sam Williams’ mangled Corvette. I can’t say definitively that the car is ‘totaled’ because of the financial/legal implications of that word with regards to insurance but it’s hard to imagine them fixing this car anytime soon:

Williams responded to reports of the accident by saying he’s ‘okay’ and so is the other driver.
I’m okay everyone so is the other person that was involved 🙏🏽💙

Sam Williams was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2nd round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He was a star at Ole Miss and has already had a prolific rookie season.
Williams has played in 13 of Dallas’ 14 games this season. He has 20 tackles, 13 solo, 3 sacks, and 1 force fumble. Sam Williams has played a critical role on the Dallas defense this season as the Cowboys trail Philly in their division but have already locked up a playoff spot.
It remains to be seen if Williams will be healthy enough to play in the Week 16 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, two of the best teams in the NFC this season.
