You’d be hard-pressed to find many teams who’ve been able to win a Super Bowl without a solid offensive line, and the Eagles certainly checked that box during a season where they were crowned the champions of the NFL. Saquon Barkley couldn’t have had the monster year he did without the guys in the trenches, and he showed his thanks by getting each of them their own truck filled with beer.

Saquon Barkley kicked off his first year as a member of the Eagles with a bang by leading the NFL in rushing yards during the regular season while helping Philadelphia punch its ticket to the playoffs before earning the right to face off against the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX.

The running back had a fairly quiet night by his standards, as he finished with 25 carries for just 57 yards while failing to get into the end zone. However, that wasn’t really an issue for an Eagles team that had Kansas City’s number the entire game and coasted to a 40-22 victory to bring the Lombardi Trophy back to The City of Brotherly Love for the first time since 2018.

Both Barkley and Jalen Hurts benefitted from the talented crew of offensive linemen who helped set them up for success over the course of the season, and the RB made sure they got their flowers by only agreeing to appear on The Tonight Show if Philly’s Big Uglies also got a moment in the spotlight—which came in the form of a segment where they shotgunned a beer with Jimmy Fallon.

It turns out those guys will also have plenty of beer to shotgun in the offseason if they so desire courtesy of Barkley, as NBC10 sports reporter John Clark revealed he hooked each of them up with their own tractor-trailer truck filled with Bud Light to thank them for their performance.

It’s not entirely clear exactly how many beers each of those trucks hold, but it’s safe to assume they won’t need to buy any for a while.
