Penn State running back Saquon Barkley is a beast. At 5’11, 222 pounds, he’s both the strongest AND the fastest player on the team. He rushed for over 1000 yards in his freshman year and was nothing short of dominant on the field.

It looks like his 2016 season is shaping up to be just as impressive. During a strength and conditioning day yesterday, Barkley set a program record for the 40-yard dash. But he didn’t stop there: He managed to clean 390 pounds, which is a Penn State power-clean record.

That’s linebacker weight, not running back weight. That’s why Barkley is the man. It’s going to be crazy to see what he’s made of in the 2016 season. I feel it’s just the beginning of a long list of accolades.
