Saquon Barkley Effortlessly Shotgunned A Beer In An Insanely Quicky Amount Of Time After Super Bowl Win

Saquon Barkley capped off one of the best seasons a running back has had in recent memory with a Super Bowl victory after the Eagles beat the Chiefs on Sunday night. There was plenty of booze flowing in the locker room after the win—including the beer the running back absolutely annihilated while shotgunning it.

Plenty of people thought the Giants would regret their decision to let Saquon Barkley walk in the wake of his sixth season with the team before he signed with the Eagles, the divisional rivals who inked the running back to a three-year deal possibly worth more than $45 million prior to the start of the most recent NFL season.

Those concerns turned out to be pretty warranted, as Barkley had the best year of his career while finishing with 2,005 yards (the only player to surpass the 2,000-yard mark and the first to do so since Derrick Henry in 2020) while averaging 5.8 yards per carries and racking up 13 rushing touchdowns to help the Eagles secure the 14-3 record that clinched the top spot in the NFC East and punched their ticket to the playoffs.

Barkley picked up where he left off once the postseason rolled around; he had a 205-yard, two-touchdown performance against the Rams in the divisional round and 118 yards and three TDs against the Commanders while averaging exactly 7.8 yards per touch in both of those contests.

The RB had a relatively quiet night during Super Bowl LIX, as he only posted 57 yards on 25 carries while failing to factor into the scoring. However, the Eagles were more than able to make up for it with an MVP-worthy performance from Jalen Hurts and the suffocating defense that shut down the Chiefs during Philadelphia’s dominant 40-22 win in New Orleans.

There was plenty of alcohol to go around in the Eagles locker room after the game, and Barkley grabbed a can of beer from Los Angeles-based Open Brewing and shotgunned it in impressive fashion while racing against backup QB Kenny Pickett.

It actually looks like Pickett beat him in the showdown (Barkley also had a little bit left in his can), but you’ve still got to give credit where credit is due for an objectively fantastic deletion.
