Midway through the 4th quarter, the Los Angeles Rams looked sure to go to 0-2, a record from which no team has ever gone on to win a Super Bowl after starting with. But, Sean McVay and company had an incredibly rally to top the San Francisco 49ers, 27-24.
After the game, McVay cracked the entire press corps up with a hilarious quip upon getting to the podium for his postgame press conference.
The Rams were pretty much drawing dead in their game against their divisional rivals. They trailed 24-14 in the 4th quarter in a game that the 49ers had controlled, especially the first half. Plus, without Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp, it a was a neutered passing attack for the Los Angeles Rams.
But, Matthew Stafford caught fire. After they went down and kicked a field goal of their own, the defense forced a field goal attempt from the 49ers, and San Francisco kicker Jake Moody missed the field goal. Immediately after, this happened.

They scored a few plays later, forced a punt by the 49ers, and a big punt return and a pass interference call on a well-thrown back shoulder pass by Matthew Stafford got them in chip-shot field goal range, which they made for the win.
