Sean Payton and Jon Gruden should get ready to open up their checkbook on Tuesday morning.
On Monday night, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the league had fined several coaches $100k for violating the league’s mask policy.
NFL fined three head coaches – – Denver’s Vic Fangio, Seattle’s Pete Carroll and SF’s Kyle Shanahan – $100,000 each for not wearing masks Sunday, and each of their teams another $250,000, sources told ESPN.
So that’s $1.05 million dollars in fines for not wearing masks.

Despite the clear warnings from the NFL, both Payton and Gruden were both seen not wearing their masks during their game on Monday Night Football.

The league is clearly going to drop the hammer on both coaches after tonight.
And based on the video of tonight’s Monday Night Football game, the NFL might not be done this week doling out fines to HCs. https://t.co/zekfN7jSAV

@NFL Considering that millions of ppl watch your games each week, it would be great if your coaches set a good example and wore their masks as required by your rules. I've yet to see a shot of Sean Payton w/ his mask on. Maybe one of these two refs could mention it to him? pic.twitter.com/3JfLnblJiv

Is Gruden ever gonna *wear* that mask or just hang it around his chin and take the fines out of the remaining $72,910,370 dollars left in his deal?
