UFC’s Sean Strickland, who fights this weekend in Houston, is not a fan of the upcoming Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano fight, or women’s MMA in general.
Earlier this week, Netflix announced it would be hosting Rousey’s comeback fight against longtime rival Carano.
While speaking with Newsweek, Strickland trashed the fight between the 39-year-old Rousey and the 43-year-old Carano.
“We’re just gonna watch two middle-aged women f—ing going through menopause fight each other. I have no interest in that, who gives a f–k.”
Sean Strickland is NOT interested in Ronda Rousey’s return to MMA 😭

During his media day for UFC Houston, Strickland doubled down on his comments and criticized women’s MMA.
“Not many people give a f–k about women’s MMA. It’s like WNBA, nobody gives a f–k about women’s sports. You take the weakest, softest guy and [he] can f—k up Amanda Nunes.
“You guys care about Gina and Ronda? Nobody gives a f–k. Maybe put some oil on it, dollar bills. We gotta remember what women excel at – having kids, being mothers, making food, cleaning the house. Problem is we’ve empowered them too much to ruin society.”
Sean Strickland says ‘no one gives a f**k’ about women’s MMA and thinks the average man could beat up Amanda Nunes 😬
