Compared to most professional athletes, PGA Tour golfers are pretty anonymous-looking. They very well could be the guy that you meet with to get a mortgage, or your insurance salesman. And, because of that, Adam Hadwin paid the price of pain on Sunday following the conclusion of the 2023 RBC Canadian Open.
The backstory is simple. Canadian Nick Taylor sank a long putt to become the first Canadian to win the tournament in 69 years on the 4th playoff hole, sending the hometown crowd into a frenzy.

Naturally, fellow Canadian and good friend of Nick Taylor, Adam Hadwin wanted to get in on the action and celebrate with his countryman. What happened next was hilarious.
Jim Nantz: “They just tackled Adam Hadwin, by the way, as he was trying to approach his friend”

That is hilarious. Though, Adam Hadwin may not have found it that funny.
