Shad Khan is not in New Orleans to watch his team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, play in the Super Bowl. However, he is in the Big Easy for the Big Game and arrived to town on his massive, $360 million yacht.
The boat itself would barely fit inside the Superdome!
Khan, 74, is worth approximately $13 billion— with a B. He ranked 55th on the Forbes 400 list of wealthiest Americans as recently as 2024. His giant fortune comes primarily from his ownership of Flex-N-Gate, which he purchased in 1980. The car parts supplier works closely with major automakers like General Motors, Toyota, Ford and Chrysler.
Khan purchased Jacksonville’s NFL team for $770 million in 2012. He spent approximately half of that amount to purchase his newest megayacht, the Kismet, near the end of 2024.
Kismet debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show. It is Khan’s fourth yacht and third megayacht. It is also his largest.
The Kismet has a length on water of 400 feet, which is longer than a football field. Nine cabins can accommodate up to 12 guests with a crew of 36+ to serve them.
It is currently parked at a dock in New Orleans. Notice the “hood ornament” in homage to the Jags.

Some of the features include: three pools on six decks, four fireplaces, two fire pits, a spa (with a hammam, sauna and cryotherapy chamber), a gym, a basketball court and a pickleball court. There is also an outdoor cinema, yoga studio, dance floor, and four bars on board. That doesn’t include the various dining areas, the underwater viewing lounge, or any of the various recreational vehicles like Jet Skis, small sailing vessels or WaveRunners. Of course, there is also a helicopter pad!

For Shad Khan to pull up to the Super Bowl in a $360 million megayacht is a total flex… but it would be so much cooler if the Jacksonville Jaguars were actually playing in the game instead of picking inside the Top 10!
