Another episode of Inside The NBA ended in chaos and laughter due to Charles Barkley’s on-air comments.
After the Celtics beat the Heat in game 5 in Boston on Thursday night, Inside The NBA did a segment where all the hosts tried to read a sentence with a Boston accent.
Barkley was tasked to read, “saw Ernie at Fenway Park eating chowder on top of the monster.”

Barkley later said he had never been to Fenway Park and “would love to sit on top of the monster.”
Chuck kept saying the phrase “sit on top of the monster,” which made co-hosts Shaq and Kenny Smith burst into laughter.
Barkley would eventually realize why Shaq and Kenny were laughing at him until it was too late, and they had to end the show.
