Colorado football star Shedeur Sanders projects to be a Top 10 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. That outlook had him joking about his future in Boulder this week.

The Buffaloes quarterback has no plans to stick around for classes next semester. He’ll be off to the league!

The quip came at the end of a recent practice with the team breaking down to leave the field. Coaches reminded players of upcoming registration for the spring session, to which Sanders replied, “Man, I’ll be in the league.”

“I know after that last game, y’all aren’t going to see me”

Shedeur Sanders is currently one of the top quarterback prospects in the 2025 draft class alongside players like Cam Ward and Quinn Ewers.

Being that he’s a senior, he shouldn’t have much coursework left to fulfill those graduation requirements. In fact, the passer responded to the now-viral clip a few hours after the fact.

With school behind him, Sanders will be able to focus on his professional career. He’ll find out where that will begin next April.

Many have predicted an NFL marriage with the Las Vegas Raiders, who are trending towards an early draft pick after starting the season 2-7. His father, Deion, wouldn’t have an issue!

“That would be nice,” he said when asked about the potential partnership. “He’d have a wonderful head coach and a wonderful president in this organization… [Antonio Pierce] is a great man, a great leader. He earned the job. I love what he brings to the table…

“I wouldn’t mind if there was some sort of way [he ended up in Las Vegas].”

Time will tell on where he winds up, but one thing that’s certain is that Shedeur Sanders won’t be playing football for the Buffaloes after this season. He should be off to the NFL.
