Shedeur Sanders is fresh off a rivalry win where he triumphantly led the Colorado Buffaloes to a 28-9 road victory over Colorado State. As one would imagine, he’s been a popular man on campus upon returning to Boulder.

Crowds of students were seen swarming the quarterback as he walked the city streets this week. They can’t get enough of their superstar!

Sanders threw four touchdowns in his most recent performance against the Rams, outperforming counterpart Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, who provided bulletin board material for the Buffs before the game.

Sanders let Fowler-Nicolosi know he didn’t appreciate the disrespect after the matchup, which only further built on his popularity at CU.

The passer is now a perfect 2-0 against his instate rival, something that seems to have gone a long way with students.

Sanders’ popularity is well-known.

Not only is he the son of legendary NFL star Deion Sanders, but he’s a projected Top 5 draft pick in his own right. Early this week, the signal caller made an appearance at My Neighbor Felix, a busy restaurant about a mile or so outside of campus.

Located on Pearl Street, maybe the most popular stop for student nightlife and midday entertainment, crowds of people were out an about – and they all wanted to be a part of Shedeur Sanders’ circle.

Their reaction to seeing Sanders has since gone viral on social media, lending insight into one controversial decision made by the quarterback.

Sanders seems to avoid in-person coursework at all costs. In fact, he didn’t attend his first offline class until April of last year.

He’s certainly not the first high-profile college athlete to go the online course route, and he won’t be the last. Livvy Dunne, Angel Reese, and Justin Fields are all recent examples.

This latest scene shows why!

Sanders is wrapping up what should be his final season at the college level before he makes the jump to the NFL. Don’t expect the popularity to die down when he turns pro!
