Shilo Sanders became one of the first drivers in Colorado to own a Cybertruck, making the massive purchase while flexing his family wealth this offseason. Now, he’s personalized it.

After hinting at a new design for his Tesla rig last week, images of the ride decked out in black and gold began to surface on Tuesday.

More from On3 Sports:

As Cybertrucks continue to show up in streets around the country, Shilo Sanders is making his stand out. The Colorado safety posted a video of his truck wrapped in Buffs’ colors.

The Cybertruck is now wrapped with black and gold trim as he shows off some Colorado pride. Sanders is gearing up for his second season in Boulder under his father, Deion, and will do so while driving around in style.

Sanders hinted at the big change during a conversation with The Daily Camera’s Brian Howell last week. Now, it appears, he made it happen…

Shilo Sanders has a $1 million On3 NIL Valuation and ranks No. 20 in the On3 NIL 100.

His brother, Shedeur, also has one, valued at $110,000 per Sports Illustrated. The quarterback showed off that purchase on his brother’s Well Off Media page in April, taking viewers for a test drive around Boulder.

It seems Shilo had to outdo his little brother!

After teasing that initial wrap, videos began circulating social media showing off the car’s new look.

Colorado assistant athletic trainer Lauren Askevold, who also worked with the Sanders family at Jackson State, posted a photo of Shilo and his whip on her Instagram story.

While Shilo Sanders looks to be loving the new design, he’s also fighting an off-the-field battle, which he touched on at Big 12 media days.

“Honestly, that kind of stuff, like, you can’t, you’re not gonna win a court case on social media. At the end of the day everybody is gonna know the truth about everything, you know? So there’s no point in just going out of my way to do that. So everything’s good.”

That case stems from an incident in which a security guard at Sanders’ old school claims to have been assaulted by the defender when Shilo refused a request to relinquish his cellphone. He was 15 years old at the time.

Sanders filed bankruptcy after a Texas court issued an $11.89 million judgement against him in 2022 as the college football star failed to show at trial.

Both Shilo and his father, Deion, dispute the allegations and are currently trying to get the debt discharged in bankruptcy court.

They’ll look to put the issue to bed while looking ahead to the 2024 season. The Buffaloes take on North Dakota State in Week 1.
