Simone Biles’ husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, isn’t very popular with fans of the US Women’s gymnastics team.
Last year, Owens went viral when he revealed that he didn’t who Biles was when he met her through the celebrity dating app Raya.
“I didn’t who she was at the time,” Owens said. “But the first thing that I saw was that she just had a bunch of followers so in my mind, I’m like, OK she got to be good.
“So literally, had been on the app for a couple of days, man, and it’s like she pops up and I’m like, ‘Let me see who this is’ … I had never really paid attention to gymnastics, so it piqued my curiosity,”

On Tuesday, Biles brought home the gold medal with the women’s USA gymnastics team. Hours after her big win Biles took a picture with Owens, who was sporting her new medal around his neck.
Unhinged fans weren’t happy with with Owens wearing Biles’ gold medal.
