Simone Biles Shares Eye-Opening Downside Of Her Olympic Workload While Hanging With Snoop Dogg In Paris

Simone Biles cemented her status as the most dominant gymnast in history after securing four more medals at the Olympics in Paris, and while she got the chance to enjoy a track-and-field event with Snoop Dogg before heading home, it was apparently the first time she got the chance to play the role of spectator at the Games.

If you didn’t know who Simone Biles was prior to the Summer Olympics in Rio in 2016, that almost certainly wasn’t the case by the time it wrapped up when you consider she came home with four gold medals around her neck after assuaging the fears of anyone who was worried the United States would have trouble filling the void that formed following the departure of McKayla Maroney.

Biles encountered a major setback in Tokyo in 2021 after falling victim to the case of the “twisties” that forced her out of the majority of the events she was slated to compete in, but she returned with a vengeance in Paris while winning three gold medals (an individual in the vault and all-around as well as one as a member of Team USA) and a silver in the floor exercise.

While the 27-year-old superstar obviously has her hands full when she heads to the Olympics, I find it hard to imagine I’m the only person who assumed she still had some gaps in her schedule that made it possible for her to take advantage of what the Games have to offer when she wasn’t training for her events.

However, it doesn’t sound like that was really the case until she headed to Paris.

On Thursday, Biles got the chance to spend some time chilling with Snoop Dogg to watch some of the track-and-field events that were held in Stade de France (including Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone’s world record performance in the 400m hurdles) while revealing that was somehow the first time she’d watched a non-gymnastics event at the Olympics in person.

Better late than never.
