Simone Biles definitely earned the right to celebrate after securing four medals at the Olympics in Paris, but she may have gone a bit too hard based on what she had to say after filming herself popping bottles in a club in the wake of the competition.
The 2024 Olympics gave Simone Biles the chance to bounce back from an appearance in Tokyo that was marred by the case of the “twisties” that derailed her performance, and she took full advantage of her shot at redemption after arriving in Paris.
The 27-year-old gymnast had already cemented herself as the most decorated athlete in the history of the sport before heading to France, and she only cemented that legacy by winning gold in the vault as well as the team and individual all-around while also securing a silver in the floor exercise.
Biles wrapped up her final event at the Olympics on August 5th but remained in Paris so she could pass off the Olympic flag to Tom Cruise and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass during the Closing Ceremony as the United States prepares to host the Summer Olympics in 2028.
She flew back to America on Monday, but not before she took one final victory lap by heading to a club in Paris where she documented an electric celebration that involved bottle service complete with a sign that read “SIMONE BILES GOD 4 LIFE.”
Simone Biles jokes she's "unwell" from celebrating 😂

It looked like the kind of night that would come back to bite anyone who took advantage of the libations that were flowing—especially a 4’8″, 104-pound Olympic gymnast who was presumably taking it easy on the alcohol in the lead-up to the Games—and Biles confirmed she wasn’t spared the wrath of her actions by hopping on Threads to proclaim “I’m never drinking again.”
We’ve all been there, Simone.
