Simone Biles Sends A Message With Incredible Podium Training Routine At Olympics

Three years ago, the Olympics in Tokyo were the sight of the lowest moment in Simone Biles‘ incredible gymnastics career.

Biles entered as the overwhelming favorite to claim All-Around gold for Team USA. But she left empty-handed after she pulled out of the event due to a condition called the “twisties.”

Fast forward a few years and Biles is back on top of her game, and if her podium training routines are any indication, ready to prove to the world that she is yet again the best gymnast on the planet.

And it may not be close.

Biles and her teammates took to the arena in Paris for training on Thursday and the six-time All-Around world champion absolutely nailed her routines.

First, she stuck an incredible Yurchenko double pike on the vault, which is considered the hardest vault in the world right now.

Then she went over to the floor and absolutely nailed a ridiculous tumbling pass, showing off the incredible height that sets her apart from her competition.

Biles says she’s ready to move past the Tokyo disaster.

“They’ll still say like, ‘Oh my gosh, you’re going to quit again? Or are you going to quit again?’ And like, and ‘If I did, what are you going to do about it? Tweet me some more?’” she said after winning the Olympic trials last month. “Like I’ve already dealt with it for three years. But yeah, they want to see us fail.”

Whether that’s true or not, only time will tell. But it’s clear her attitude and her game are in a great spot as she looks to make even more history.

“I think with everything I’ve been through, I want to push the limits, I want to see how far I can go,” she said. “I want to see what I’m still capable of so once I step away from this sport, I can truly be happy with my career and say I gave it my all.”
