Simone Biles left Paris with three new Olympic gold medals in town and solidified herself as the GOAT with 7 total Olympic golds and 11 Olympic medals. Once she was finally able to break her focus from competition, Simone Biles learned that countless memes had emerged of her icy stare after a moment where Biles turned to the camera and stared daggers.
The Simone Biles Stare moment only lasted two seconds on camera during Thursday, August 8th but countless memes flooded X and Instagram. And now Simone Biles herself is leaning into the ‘Simone Biles Stare’ meme with a new TikTok that’s so good one has to wonder if Biles came up with this on her own or if her TikToko-savvy teammate Suni Lee texted her the idea for it.

The video picked up over 2.5 million views in the first 16 hours it up was up on TikTok, that represents nearly half of Biles’ total number of followers on TikTok, and is a testament to how she’s truly the queen of the moment right now.
That same video was also shared to Instagram but the total number of likes there were hidden. She did ‘collab’ the post with Netflix so the reach on Instagram must’ve been absolutely massive. It was also a very clever way to spread the word about Simone Biles Rising, her show on Netflix:

The ‘Simone Biles Stare’ video/meme comes on the heels of her causing a stir at the Chicago Bears game. She sparked beef, either intentionally or inadvertently, with Bears fans after wearing a custom jacket to support her husband Jonathan Owens. As you can see here, Simone’s custom jacket features her husband in his Green Bay Packers uniform and not the Chicago Bears:
Simone was born in Ohio and grew up in Texas. She has traveled the world for years in competition. Bears fans getting angry over this are overthinking it. This isn’t shade at the team. And she is the GOAT. Get in line, embrace her as a fan, and it will be great for the franchise.
