“Team USA athletes are the real stars—I’m just here to cheer, uplift and maybe drop a little wisdom from the sidelines,” said Coach Snoop, according to a USOPC press release. “This team represents the best of what sport can be: talent, heart and hustle. If I can bring a little more love and motivation to that, that’s a win for me.”
According to USOPC, Snoop will serve as a hype man and help uplift Olympians and Paralympians from the sidelines during the upcoming Olympics.
The role is a volunteer position designed to celebrate and uplift U.S. Olympians and Paralympians as they take on the biggest stage in winter sports.
He’ll join the vast network of USOPC staff, coaches, medical experts, administrators, and partners who help Team USA athletes chase their dreams and inspire the nation.
