It appears that someone forgot to turn off the sprinkler timer at Lane Stadium.
During Saturday night’s Clemson-Virginina Tech game, the sprinkler system inside the stadium randomly went off while the players were on the field.

Update: According to ESPN’s Maria Taylor the groundscrew had the sprinkler system on a night cycle, and they forgot to turn off the timer off for game night.
