Yesterday afternoon, Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell officially declared that he was going to sit out the entire season to become a free agent during the offseason.
Le'Veon Bell is not reporting to the Steelers by the 4 pm deadline today and is now ineligible to play the remainder of the 2018 season, source tells ESPN. His season is over.
Bell will become an unrestricted free agent this winter, when the bidding for his services will begin.

Earlier today, Ben Roethlisberger talked about how he has tried to message Bell throughout the ordeal but his teammate decided not talk to him or anybody in the organization.

While Big Ben was understanding of Bell’s situation, other Steelers players are taking the time to clown Bell by stealing the stuff that he left behind.
Le’Veon Bell’s nameplate has been removed from his locker. Ramon Foster just pointed out that players are “ransacking” Bell’s locker.
