Stephen A. Smith still has an issue with LeBron James after their on-court confrontation.

Earlier this year, LeBron went viral when he confronted Smith on the sidelines of a Lakers game to talk about his coverage of his son, Bronny.

LeBron explained that he felt Smith was getting personal with his criticism and thought he went too far when he criticized Bronny during a segment on First Take.

“He completely missed the whole point, never would I ever not allow people to criticize players about what they do on the court. That’s your job to criticize or to be in a position if a guy is not performing, that’s all part of the game, but when you take it and get personal with it, it’s my job to not only protect my damn household, and to protect my players.”

‘I know he’s going to be happy as hell, he’s going to be smiling from ear to ear when he hears me talking about him. He’s going to get home and grab some ice cream from the f-ng freezer and sit in his tighty whiteys on the couch.”

During a recent interview with The Pivot podcast, Smith said he believes LeBon acts differently with journalists depending on their race.

“You ever see LeBron go at a white boy? Let’s call it what it is. You ever see him do that? You saw him come at me. Closest you ever came to seeing him do something like that was when he called out Brian Windhorst,” said Smith. “What you calling out Brian Windhorst for? The man covered you since junior high school and has praised you repeatedly and you used the Pat McAfee situation to go at him. that’s the only time you ever seen LeBron James really go at somebody white. I’m going to call it what it is.”

It seems like Smith’s beef with LeBron is not going to die down anytime soon.
