Stephen A. Smith is defending Snoop Dogg, Nelly, and other rappers who performed at Trump’s inauguration celebration. Earlier this week, Snoop Dogg caught some heat when he performed for Trump a few years after he called out people for aligning themselves with Trump.

On his YouTube channel, Smith fired back at critics of Snoop Dogg for attending Trump’s inauguration celebration.

“This brother sending cats to college, he sending cats to the NFL, we just gon’ ignore that? Because he performed at the inauguration?”

Smith also defended other rappers who decided to perform at the event.

“Now that the brothers come along and make something of themselves, and they got opportunities that they’re willing to exploit, and they choose to be apolitical, you wanna get in their a–?”
