LeBron James probably regrets confronting Stephen A. Smith. Last week, James walked up to Smith to yell at him about criticizing his son Bronny James.
After the video went viral, Smith said he didn’t want to talk about the incident but proceeded to do so on his show.
“That was LeBron James coming up to me, unexpectedly I might add, to confront me about making sure I mind what I say about his son,” Smith said. “I can’t repeat the words because they ain’t suited for FCC airwaves. That’s what he was doing.”
“That wasn’t a basketball player confronting me, that was a parent, that was a father.”

Since then, Smith has appeared on several podcasts and TV shows, including Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News, to discuss LeBron confronting him.
“He thought that I was insulting his son when in fact that is not what I was doing… He confronted me, it’s his prerogative.”

Fans mocked Smith for going on a press tour to talk about LeBron.
“This is like the 6th different media outlet I’ve seen Stephen A. talking about LeBron on.” said one fan.
“Doing a media tour about how much it didn’t bother me that LeBron yelled at me.” commented another fan.
It’ll be interesting to see how long Stephen A. milks the whole LeBron situation.
