Things Get Awkward When Stephen A. Smith Brings Up Molly Qerim’s ‘Vibrating’ Phone During ESPN’s First Take

Things got a bit awkward between Stephen A. Smith and co-host Molly Qerim.

During Thursday’s show, First Take brought in NFL analyst Dan Orlovsky to discuss Davante Adams’ frustration with the Raiders offense.

During the segment, Qerim’s phone went off, which seemed to set off Smith.

Smith kept mentioning that Qerim’s phone was “vibrating”, to the point where his co-hosts became a bit uncomfortable.

Orlovsky put a towel over his face and said that “I’m trying to avoid getting fired”

Qerim quickly killed the “vibrating” conversation by saying, “this isn’t the Stephen A. Smith show on YouTube, this is Disney.”

There have been several awkward interactions between Qerim and Smith over the years, and this will likely not be the last.
