Steven Hauschka’s Super Bowl Introduction Caused His College’s Website To BLOW UP

During the typical pre-game player introductions — you know when the guy’s heads flash on the screen like a hologram welcoming you to a Disney ride in 2050 — it’s common to hear the names of major schools like Ohio State, USC and Michigan State.

Last night, Seahawks kicker repped a small little liberal arts school in Vermont and fucking crashed their website. Most likely from people wondering “where the hell is Middlebury College?!?”

From SB Nation:

This is what happens to a small Vermont liberal arts college when its name is mentioned during the introductions of the Super Bowl.

Roughly 2,500 people attend Middlebury College, which means Steven Hauschka caused more than 10 times the entire school’s student population to visit their site in a few minutes.

“”Here’s Hauschka’s intro along with something about a vagina. https://platform.vine.co/static/scripts/embed.js

Imagine how many people searched the University of Vagina last night.
