Steven Milam had a tremendous second season of college baseball with LSU. The superstar shortstop commemorated the Tigers’ national title with a full-sized tattoo of himself.
It is equally as outlandish as it is awesome!
Milam will forever have a portrait of his reaction to the final out of the college baseball championship on his own arm. He won’t let anyone forget.
Who is Steven Milam?
The New Mexico-native was ranked as the No. 32 overall prospect in the recruiting Class of 2024. Milam was considered one of the top shortstops in the country and immediately burst onto the scene as a freshman. He hit .326 with with 12 doubles, three triples, eight home runs, 40 RBIs, 51 runs scored and seven stolen bases. It absolutely lived up to the hype.
Although Milam’s average took a small drop in 2025, his numbers were still among the best in the nation at his position. The 5-foot-8 infielder hit .295 with 11 home runs and 57 RBIs. His fielding is also electric.

To win a national championship meant everything to Steven Milam.

Milam chose to commemorate his first national title with a new tattoo. It covers the length of his inner forearm.
LSU defeated Coastal Carolina in Game 2 of the championship series. The Tigers swept the Chanticleers by a combined score of 6-3.
Steven Milam threw his arms into the air as soon as the final out secured the win. Eddie Kelly of D1 Baseball took an iconic photo of the celebration. (Second slide below!)
Lafayette-based tattoo artist Velot Khammany Jr. worked closely with Milam to commemorate the moment.
The new tattoo on Milam’s arm features Steven Milam in celebration. It looks like a national championship trophy is next.
I am a huge fan of the tattoo. I think Khammany did a great job.
With that being said, it is still a wild move to get a full-sized tattoo of yourself! Steven Milam’s arm will forever feature an image of Steven Milam.
