Happy Stranger Things Day! To celebrate the anniversary of the day in 1983 that Will Byers went missing in Hawkins, Indiana, Netflix dropped a new teaser for the popular show’s fifth and final season.

Not only that, they also revealed the titles of all of upcoming episodes and finally confirmed the last season of Stranger Things will, in fact, be released in 2025, not 2026 as some reports online had suggested.

Stranger Things 5 will consist of eight episodes, just like the first and third seasons (season two and four had nine episodes).

The titles of each episode for season five don’t shed a lot of light (yet) on what they will consist of, we do known that it all begins more than a year after the events of season four, but they are sure to set internet sleuths on a new quest to figure them out before the 2025 premiere.

• “The Crawl”
• “The Vanishing of ________”
• “The Turnbow Trap”
• “Sorcerer”
• “Shock Jock”
• “Escape From Camazotz”
• “The Bridge”
• “The Rightside Up”

The most interesting title is the second one as the teaser for season five censors who or what will be vanishing. That second episode’s title is also a callback to the very first episode of the series: “”Chapter One: The Vanishing of Will Byers.”

Notably, the teaser doesn’t give a specific date in 2025 when Stranger Things 5 will debut. Previous seasons were released in July, October, July again, and May, so it’s really anyone guess at this point.

New cast members for season five will include Linda Hamilton as a character so far known only as Mother, and Nell Fisher, who was recast as Mike and Nancy’s younger sister Holly.

Two people who will not be returning are Matthew Modine as Dr. Brenner and Joseph Quinn as Eddie. They’ve both been confirmed to really be dead.

Max, played by Sadie Sink, will be back though, even though she is brain dead, blind and all of her bones are broken, according to the series creators Matt and Ross Duffer.
