Taylor Swift received backlash for “Swag Surfin” during a recent Chiefs game, and the rappers behind the song are coming out to defend her.

Two weeks later, Swift went viral and received hate from some NFL fans for doing the Swag Surf at Arrowhead Stadium.

On Thursday, TMZ spoke with Fast Life Yungstaz a.k.a. F.L.Y., who were responsible for the 2009 hit that has been a stable at football stadiums around the country.

One of the members of F.L.Y spoke out on the backlash Swift was getting for enjoying their song.

“And as far as the Internet’s reaction, it’s a lot of people that is very protective of Swag Surfin, but everybody gotta know that’s a song we made for everybody, everybody can turn up to it.”

F.L.Y has plenty to be happy about because their streaming numbers increased by 700 percent after Swift’s viral moment.

They say Tay Tay’s surfing boosted their streams a ridiculous 700% … and they wouldn’t be mad if she just so happened to create her own ‘Taylor’s Version,’ as long she raps on it.
