Sydney Colson didn’t hold back when jabbing her Las Vegas Aces teammate A’ja Wilson, who’s fresh off winning Olympic gold in Paris.

Colson called Wilson “fake” in a recent social media post, making sure to remind the two-time WNBA MVP of her true affiliation. She refuses to let Team USA replace the Aces!

Wilson was a star in the Paris Games, racking up a team-high 21 points in the US’s gold medal win over France on Sunday.

To celebrate, the center posted a photo of her summer squad sporting their new hardware to her Instagram story. “Whatta groupppp,” the caption read.

Sydney Colson fired back with her reaction on X.

“Whatta groupppp.” some s— just fake to me.

Colson’s response got an immediate rise out of her social media following. She had to let ’em know that Team USA was only temporary!

“Big ‘oh those your lil summer friends from your grandma house’ energy…”

A’ja Wilson played along with the joke, replying on Monday to the sarcastic post.

“jealously is just love and hate at the same time”

Colson is ready to get her teammate back after her brief “summer vacation” in Paris.

The duo will look to get back to business upon Wilson’s arrival to the United States. After winning back-to-back WNBA titles, the Las Vegas Aces will attempt a three-peat in 2024-25.

Both players will play an integral role in that title defense.

Colson doesn’t want Wilson acting different when she comes back to Sin City. She had to remind her of who her real teammates were after that first-place finish in France.
