Sydney Sweeney is already on her way to becoming one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and now some sportsbooks have her as being the odds-on favorite to land one of the longest-running roles in Hollywood.

According to sportsbooks that are offering the odds, the 25-year-old Sydney Sweeney is the betting favorite to be the next “Bond girl” with odds of about +140, which has an implied probability of about 40%.

Other notable names considered to be up for the role of the next Bond girl are Jodie Comer (+200), Dua Lipa (+400), Ana de Armas (+550), Zendaya (+600), and Florence Pugh (+600).

A dark horse for the part has to be Adria Arjona, who recently became an A-lister thanks to her starring role in Hit Man and upcoming parts in projects such as Blink Twice and season two of Andor.

As for Sweeney, she also has a bevy of upcoming projects in the works following the back-to-back successes of Anyone But You and Immaculate (she was also in Madame Web but the less said about that movie, the better).

Sweeney’s upcoming films include Echo Valley and Eden, which also stars Ana de Armas and Vanessa Kirby. Sweeney is also developing a remake of the 1960s Jane Fonda cult classic sci-fi film Barbarella, which recently landed Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World filmmaker Edgar Wright as its director.

The actor who will be playing James Bond himself, on the other hand, is also still up in the air, as the studio that produces the films has yet to cast an actor in the role despite it now being almost three years since the release of No Time to Die.

Over the last couple of years, signs have pointed toward the upcoming Kraven the Hunter star Aaron Taylor-Johnson being the favorite for the iconic role previously portrayed by Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and Daniel Craig.
