Viral Tampa TikToker “Lieutenant Dan” has already lost his Kick partnership a week after landing it.
Last week, a one-legged man named Joe Malinowski went viral on TikTok when he vowed to ride out Hurricane Milton on his sailboat.
After raking up tens of millions of views on social media, Malinowski was offered $100k for a new boat and a lucrative streaming deal on Kick from Adin Ross despite his lengthy arrest record.

A week after the hurricane, Malinowski found himself in hot water when he used a racial slur on Livestream and then began beefing with Terrence Concannon, the TikTok creator who originally helped share Malinowski’s story ahead of Hurricane Helene.
On Sunday, Ross announced that he was rescinding Malinowski’s Kick sponsorship deal and is giving it to Terrence instead.
“I am no longer giving Lieutenant Dan a Kick deal,” Adin said on his October 13 stream. “But I am giving the deal to Terrence. Terrence is going to go around Tampa IRL streaming and he’s going to help out homeless people and people that are in need.”
“And we’re going to give him a budget every day to go out IRL and give out and bless people.”

Ross says he’s still interested in giving Malinowski a boat and wants to help him stay sober.
“By giving him a boat, but we also want to make sure that he’s staying sober and does it the right way.”
