Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell recently debuted a brand-new tattoo sleeve on his right leg. It stretches from his upper thigh to his foot and features some of the most iconic figures in horror film.
The process required him to undergo anesthesia to get it done as quickly as possible!
Dell, 25, will begin his third year in the NFL when training camp gets underway in just a few months. However, the former third round draft pick continues to recover from an injury to his right leg. A gnarly collision during Week 16 dislocated his knee, tore multiple ligaments and damaged his meniscus. Although there is some optimism that he might be ready to return around the one-year mark, it seems unlikely that he will play at any point during the 2025-26 season.
As Dell continues to recover, he decided to get some work done on the other leg. And by work, I mean a tattoo. And by tattoo, I mean a full sleeve!
The design focuses on the horror genre of film. It features nods to Scream, the Joker, Halloween, It and Chucky in great detail!

Dell partnered with LAKIMII Tattoo out of West Hollywood, one of the top tattoo artists in the world for celebrities and athletes. His/their clientele includes Offset, Brandon Ingram, Tyrice Knight and Dennis Schroeder, among countless others.
Lakimii’s process is what really sets the studio apart. A full leg sleeve would typically require multiple sessions over the course of multiple months. And it hurts!
Lakimii is certified in anesthesiology. They are able to put their clients under anesthesia to knock out a pain-free sleeve or full-back tattoo in just one single session. Tank Dell chose to go that route.
It is unclear as to when Dell’s sleeve will make its debut on the field. However, the new tattoos are a great representation of how he plays. They are as scary as he is to defensive backs!
