Earlier this week, it was announced that Taylor Swift is now the richest female musician in the entire world.
According to Forbes, Swift’s net worth is now estimated to be around $1.6 billion, thanks to raking in about $600 million from from her Eras Tour concert sales and royalties.
So, yes, it’s good to be Taylor Swift these days.
It is also, apparently, good to be someone who looks like Swift and can sing some of the songs from T-Swizzle’s $600 million music catalog.
Such is the case for Olivia Mojica, who recently revealed to the Swift-Tea Podcast that she has been making so much money as a Taylor Swift lookalike that she has quit her day job.
Mojica and her Blank Space Tribute Band are hoping that someday they too can go on a world tour.
Considering they have made as much as $18,000 for just one appearance, it’s certainly a reasonable goal. Plus, it would appear, they have the support of none other than Taylor Swift herself.
Good thing too, because one of the concerns Olivia Mojica talked about on the podcast was that she doesn’t “want to get in trouble.”
“Blank Space is not just a tribute band, it is a magical experience that transports you into the captivating world of Taylor Swift,” the group wrote on Instagram.
“From the moment the performers step on stage, you can feel the energy and passion they pour in to each note!
“As music fills the air, you will be taken through the journey through all the hits that have made Taylor Swift a household name.
“From ‘Love Story’ to ‘Shake it Off’ every song is a celebration of Taylor Swift’s Iconic discography. Blank Space brings each track to life as the audience sings in unison and lose themselves in the music!
“Blank Space is here to bring people together through the power of song. Do t forget to leave a comment on your personal favorite song by Taylor Swift!”
