Taylor Swift did not attend either of the Kansas City Chiefs’ last two games. Security concerns reportedly played a significant role in her decision to stay home, in addition to her increasingly busy schedule with the final leg of her sold-out Eras Tour set to get underway later this month.
However, the report seems rather inflammatory if you look at the last 13 months.
A large number of NFL fans are tired of the “will she? won’t she?” when it comes to the world’s biggest pop star. The fatigue is very real around the league and the constant speculation on Swift’s whereabouts has become something that most people choose to tune out. And yet, it’s unavoidable.
There may not be a more popular celebrity on the planet right now. Swifties are on a whole different level when it comes to their fandom. As a result, any small piece of news about their fearless leader quickly spreads like wildfire. They watch every one of Travis Kelce’s games with hopes that she shows up.

According to Page Six, safety played a big role in the decision to stay home. Kansas City played in Atlanta on Sept. 21. It played in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Swift did not travel to either city for either game.
If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns. She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable. Going to all kinds of different stadiums, you need to send a team in advance.

Page Six implied that the series of events in Austria factors into Swift’s lack of travel this fall. Maybe that is true!
With that being said, it’s not like Taylor Swift hasn’t traveled to away games in the past. If she can attend games in New Jersey, Green Bay, New England, Buffalo and Baltimore, as well as the Super Bowl, it seems as though Los Angeles and Atlanta would not be that big of a challenge for security.
She is also very busy, which seems like the more logical reason for this absence. It is totally normal not to attend every game!
