Team USA’s Jack Hughes got a hero’s welcome in his first game back in New Jersey.
On Sunday, Hughes became a national hero when he scored the game-winning goal in Team USA’s gold medal game against Canada.

Hughes is finally back in New Jersey after partying with his Team USA teammates all week.
On Wednesday night, Hughes got a standing ovation at the Prudential Center in his first game back with the New Jersey Devils.

Hughes went on to address the crowd after his ovation.
“I’m so proud and I’m so happy that the men’s and women’s USA hockey teams brought gold medals back to the United States of America. I’m so proud to represent the New Jersey Devils organization… and I’m so, so proud to represent the great state of New Jersey.”
