UFC lightweight champion Ilia Topuria really wants to box Terence Crawford, but it doesn’t seem like the superstar boxer is interested the fight. Last month, started a feud with Crawford by posting a photo of the two with the caption “whon wins?”
After his win against Canelo Alvarez, Crawford tried to put an end to the feud by saying he has no idea who Topuria is.

“I definitely think he’s trying to clout chase… He’s not nowhere near on the level of Conor McGregor, let’s be real. Stop it. Don’t ever compare him to Conor. Like I said, I don’t know this guy. I’ve never seen this guy fight.”

Topuria immediately fired back at Crawford on social media.
“You say you’re an MMA fan but you don’t even know who I am… interesting. The first time we met you told me ‘good luck this week with your fight.’ Your memory fails you… and soon your chin will too.
I’ll represent the entire MMA community. Pound-for-pound #1 in real fights vs the pound-for-pound boxer.”
While UFC CEO Dana White has shot down Topuria’s request, the UFC champion believes he can convince his boss to allow him to box Crawford.
“It’s something I want to do, and I don’t think [Dana] will tell me he doesn’t want to help me achieve my dream…
“I’ll have his support, I have no doubt about that. It’ll take some convincing, but I’m sure it’ll work out.”

Currently, there doesn’t seem to be much interest in seeing Crawford box Topuria after the masterclass he put on against Canelo on Saturday night.
