The Texas Longhorns travelled to College Station for SEC baseball action over the weekend. They fell in a conference series to Texas A&M with back-to-back losses.
The Aggies erupted for 20 runs in the first two games of the set. On Day 3, the fanbase trolled a former coach that traitorously flipped sides in the Lone Star State rivalry.
Clearly, the 12th Man has not forgotten about the treachery. The fanbase targeted pitching coach Max Weiner during a rain delay on Sunday.
Texas A&M baseball got its revenge.
The Aggies made the College World Series final in 2024 where it fell in three games to national champion Tennessee. Less than a week later, head coach Jim Schlossnagle bolted for Texas. He took with him a large chunk of the staff.
In Year 1 with the Longhorns, Schlossnagle got the best of his former school with a sweep in Austin. The program took a victory lap after the fact.
This time around, the tables turned. Texas A&M won the first game of the series, 9-8. It won more convincingly on Saturday, 11-4. That was headlined by an eight-run first frame to kickstart the scoring.

Texas’s pitching staff owns a Top 5 ERA nationally. It proved no match for the Aggies’ offensive attack, which averaged 10 runs a game across two wins.
The Longhorns entered Sunday’s series finale hoping to avoid a sweep. Their pursuits of victory were delayed by inclement weather. The home side used a rain delay as an opportunity to throw shade.
Texas A&M trolled Max Weiner.
Chants of “Useless Weiner” and “bullpen sucks” hurled at former Texas A&M and current Texas assistant coach Max Weiner.

The 12th Man hurled vicious insults in the direction of Max Weiner, who spent the 2024 season on the Aggies’ staff. He followed Schlossnagle to Texas ahead of the 2025 campaign.
Texas A&M fans made sure to voice their displeasure of the move. The rain could not stop them.
With the two wins, the Aggies improved to 27-7 on the year. They’ll continue their push to the postseason after picking up bragging rights.
