I love every single thing about this. Apollos Hester is a runningback and/or wide receiver for Georgetown, Texas’s East ViewPatriots, which is just north of Austin. In a post-game interview with Lauren Mickler on TWC News Austin, Hester delivered an enthusiastic, inspirational battle-cry after his team won under the lights on Friday night.
As the sports anchor says afterwards, “I don’t know about you but I want to run through a brick wall right now.” Me too. Let’s hope Apollos Hester keeps it up, because I wait to see Hester deliver oratory like this on a national stage. How can you not love this kid’s swagger? Bro of the week, for sure.
